can a rd and Texas breed? Just wondering cause if so i think my rd and texas are a pair.

Its unlikely that they would be able to produce viable fry, they are not that closely related family-wise.

They can certainly go through the motions though.  And be wary, if the RD is the male, they can turn on their mate during or after mating and be very aggressive.

I'd also be very leary of that situation. The Texas's life may eventually be in great danger, especially if the RD is a male.  Just keep a extremely close eye on it. :-\

yeah i've been keeping a clos eye on them,  very interesting to see if anything happens.
