Hehehehe, I love the enormous barbels on the Leiarus cats. I remember an article in one of the Practical Fishkeeping magazines, the reporter and the cameraman had gone to interview this guy who kept oddballs. The reporter and the owner were downstairs looking at the guys Knives when they heard a startled cry from upstairs. On running upstairs they found a very startled cameraman who'd been standing next to a tank with a full-grown Leiarus pictus in it. He'd been standing a little too close and the Pictus had decided to ask him for some food. He did this by reaching out of the top of the tank with his enormous barbels and tapping the cameraman on the shoulder with them

Seems this is a normal sort of thing for these large cats to do, they're very owner-responsive. I'd give my eye teeth to have a cat like that......
