moved my cons

i moved my cons yesterday into a 40 gallon aquarium and now they act real hyper either when someone walks into the room or when i cut the light on in the morning. why? they just run around the tank really really fast and when i think they're calm they arent at all. i dont even know if they are eating or not. why are they doing this? can anyone help me please?

heys,
well this is the same thing that happened to me a while agom i put 3 convicts into a 25 g and they were always hidding when ever i came into the room or darted off when i was feeding them.
i think you should give them time, they tend to be very shy when theyre introduced into a new aquarium.

Probally just a bit freaked out at the new surroundings. Pretty common with convict's, I'd just give them a week or so and they should adjust and be a lot less skittish.

Agreed  O0  Most cichlids will take at least a week to pout and act silly when they've been moved to a new tank, so just give them a little time to settle into their new home.  They'll be back to normal soon enough  :)
