Thanks.  I wish it was that easy.  He is the only male out of 18 I purchased from 'Jeff Rapps' (www.tangledupincichlids.com) within the last two years.

Did you expect to have only have 1 left or did you build the tank to house more than 1?

He is going to be really big. 24" sounds cool.

Well, I bought the batches in groups of six.  Raised the first batch - all females :(, raised the second batch, all females >:(, then I decided for my third and final batch, regardless if I did not get a male - low and behold, I got lucky with one ;D!!

I built the tank for one pair.
