The diference between male and female is that males have longer fins grow larger, females are more colorfull and have  orange dots on the belly like this pic

the one on the left is the female on the right duh the male  ;)

Can you tell if Moo (convict's name) is a male or female? Thanks!

my guess would be male, but its a little hard to tell sometimes with pink/calico convicts as the orange belly of the female can blend alot more.

I would guess male also.  Males do tend to be bigger and more aggressive and develop a nuchal hump on their forehead.  Fin extensions are no longer a sure fire way to sex and apparently neither is the orange on females (though I swear by that myself)
