Topic: Convicts cichilids breeding like rabbits

 :DMy convicts keep breeding.
Is there any kind of fish that i can get who will
eat the babies.  I will ask lfs if they can take some.
Maybe put add in the sip and chat and sell then
or give them away.  But is there any fish who will seek and destroy.
Or will i have to deal with it.
 :-\I enjoy watching the babies.  My green Kissing fish used to eat
the fry.  BUt then you never know when im least exspecting it
they will have disappered and one kisser will have grown again??

My aquarium is a 66 gallon
I also have a 50 gallong hexigon shaped
that houses fancy gold fish with two cory's and a golden algee
eater, there was a placastumus.
And i have a 29 gallon which i will reseal and set that up.

My recommendation is if your are not gonna use the 29 G for a fish in specific use that tank to raise the Fry's. You have many Cichlid that you can house with the Con that will end up eating the Convict Fry. And will be OK on the 66 Gal with the con the only problem is that there will be lot of aggression, since they are a breeding pair.

Yes they are prolific breeders, I finally had to get rid of the fremale.Also they get super agressive when they have fry.
