the closest airport that the fish and wildlife mark as a "dedicated" airport is louisville ky which is about 3.5 hours from me so id have to make a special petition to be allowed to import to st louis which is only like a lil over 1.5 hours from me so in reality importing directly without a broker or trans-shipper would be a major pain in my butt so id actually prefer to pay a lil extra per fish to avoid the hassles(you made an excellent point that breeding would be less of a headache)
Good luck getting special permission from fish and game to clear a shipment.
Last I asked (sept 5th) they still weren't allowing any "non-designated point of entry permits" and I'm guessing thats what your talking about ?
I used to do that through Detroit (the biggest non-designated point of entry) - 45mins from my house. But for the last 5 years every application from everyone in the area has been turned down

The explaination fish and game gives is - a large majority of fish and game officers are in the military reserves and called to active duty , since both are federal the agents can not be replaced and their job have to be held open, so fish and game is to short staffed to service non-point of entry locations - until <--- they have no clue or time frame

So that makes everyone in this area have to drive to Chicago,Il

i also cant find any contact info for m&m castle
I have it somewhere from shipping them food, once I find it I'll send it to you.
