got a nice pair of convicts in a 55g tank! male is extremely dark an stripes are way less visable than those of the female who seems to b showin alooottt of colour! she is also alot lighter... they spend loads of time together get on very well! the male has alreayd completed hes nest which he made in a ceramic potplant he excavated all the sand that was in it an is spendin alot of time in it BUT the female has gone on her own mission an made one for herself elswer!! she does spend most her time in the males nest but occasionaly can b found in her own one, it seems to b her lil retreat?? i duno anyone els experienced anything like this? the male is neva in her nest...
i also has a random molly in the tank that i used to cycle it with couldn catch it when introduced cons an they dont giv it anyy hassle!!! the male chases it away wen it comes to close to hes nest but thats it....
