I got new fish...

Yesterday I got a male, female pair of firecons they are so pretty  I love them.. They are mean little buggers tho.

Firecons?  Firemouth/convict crosses?  

Congrats on the new fish.  If they are a firemouth/convict hybrid and they somehow manage to breed i'd encourage you to euthanize all the offspring.  I've never heard of that cross before so if it isn't a cross just ignore what i said.   O0

Well it has the body of a firemouth and the red of ome with the stripes of a convict and the mouth of one. I will try to get some pics later.

They breed quite easy. I had one of my male cons mate with a female firemouth one time, not bad looking when grown but I like the pure con and firemouth more.

To be honest I am quite fine with hybrids, I have 2 of em and soon to have hundreds. What to do with all the fry.

Well the only person I am giving them to is my grandma is a single 30 she is not gonna breed so dont worry, I might feed them to the rest of my fish, or maybe my new oscar.
