Is that the same fish in both pics? It's definitely not a salvini. I'll have to look into it to come up with what it actually is though
yes, i swear its the same fish. the pics are a couple weeks apart. the lighter one is probly a round a month old and taken by me. the darker one is with the last week and taken by my girlfriend. obviously she kicks my ass at taking pictures of fish, you can see the difference in all my photos. the fish has doubled in size over the last month, and is some times light, some times dark. i like it when the stripes are a dark black. i think i picked up the bi-polar moodstone cichlid! lol.

hello,
to start with my 300 page biography... i have been growing and maintaining cichlids sence i was 16, i am currently 23 with 10 established tanks and 10 different breeds of cichlids. i still look at myself as a beginner though. i have collected and grown several jack dempsies, oscars, convicts, and angels to pass them on to friends and family who enjoyed them just as much as i till the fish's final days. i have whipped ich many a time over the last 7 years, but know little about any other deseases. i am looking to soak up as much knowledge as possable, and have several pictures of my fish to share. the only unfortunate thing is that what i do know about aquaria helps in no way with my spelling or punctuation!
was that 300 pages?? i lost track after "biography".
