can you help me learn about convicts?
« on: June 18, 2008, 12:43:41 PM »
Hi everyone, I am soon going to be upgradeing my 29 gallon tank into a 60 gallon tank and I want to make it a convict ONLY tank. so I have some questions. How many can I keep in a 60 gallon tank? How should I set the tank up? Rocks? Plants?Caves? How often should I feed live foods? What are the ideal water paremeters for them? Thats all the questions I have right now but any tips and/or tricks you can give to help me out would be appreciated. Thanks.

Good advice Gerry only thing i can add to that is
you will also need good filtration , 10 x tank volume per hour for hob/internal filters and 5x tank volume for canister
good luck and enjoy them  O0

Make Google your friend......... lots of ideas there. Read until you can't see straight, and you can see how others have their tanks set up.
