Just got a " rare" Cuban Cichlid

I was just wondering if anyone can give me good tips on taking good care of this 2 inch juvenile cichlid...

i have him in a 45 gallon tank..
my questions..

whats the appropriate temprature?

food? flakes or pellets...

any special setups for the tank? like caves and hiding places??

Whern you say "rare cuban cichlid" and "this 2 inch juvenile cichlid" that really doesnt give us much to go on.  Do you have a scientific name, a common name, maybe a picture?  All I can say is give him moderately neutral water at 78-80 degrees and feed him a good quality cichlid pellet... thats pretty much standard for most cichlids.

Actually they are reported as a common species min tank size is 45 gallons,Ph neutral , 72-77 temp , Max size is 10 inches and it's Omnivorous.

This fish resembles the more common Jaguar Cichlid, and although it is territorial and can be bothersome towards tankmates, it is not as aggressive as the Jaguar. They sometimes live in slightly brackish water, and should be provided with a roomy aquarium with lots of rocks, plants and driftwood for territorial reasons
