Temperament / Behavior This beautiful fish can be shy and does need some hiding hole when a juveniles. They are easily startled and can become aggressive especially toward related species.

Compatible Tank Mates Does well with many fish but caution with it’s own kind.
Diet / Fish Food Omnivorous, needs a variety of food including sea algae, spirulina, shrimp, mussels and other meaty foods. When young should be feed 3 times a day.

General Information An absolute beautiful fish and will add activity to a tank. Not considered reef safe as they are known nippers but many Aquarist do keep them with little to no problems. They are prone to infections when juvenile and first sign is their chin gets pale and can be cleared with Anti-bacterial foods.
