can't see some

why would it be that I can see some pics and not others. I wonder if it is because some pics come from other web sites and not from PC's?

I assume there is a pic at the bottom of your post Storm, all I see is a box with a red X in it. I see Garfield fine.

ok thats my sig pic and its hosted on photo bucket
so you can see pics hosted on here but not other sites  , i think youve a setting in your profile set wrong
in your profile  theres a box modify profile settings select look and layout preferances  i have all boxes except return to topics after posting by default un ticked
try that mate see if it helps

could depend on where you are trying to view the site from, I'm on a network that blocks links to photos just now.

IMHO the most probable cause is that the image type is not supported by any of your current software or not indentified in the Registry (most likely) as being supported.

It has been a long time since I have done this but try single or double clicking with the left and right rodent buttons on the red x.

Subsequent to one of these actions a pop up dialog should appear which will lead you down the primrose path to joy (I hope).
