As impressive as this looks, this is actually a very saddening sight
It's a great example of what an introduced species can do to an ecosystem not designed to handle it. This is a river in southern Mexico that is almost completely denuded of other fish life due to Common Pleco's being released into it, probably from fish keepers who weren't prepared for the size they can get to.
