Got a new member for my Mbuna tank
« on: March 21, 2009, 06:01:18 AM »
Was watching my Mbuna tank this week and saw a flash of something.
Straight away I was thinking "what the hell was that ?", I'm used to seeing the odd Yellow lab & acei fry but this was different.
On closer inspection, I found a juve Syno Multipunctatus - seen him today during tank maint and he is about 3/4 inch long and getting bolder it seems.  So my 5 cats have now become 6 although looking at one of my female labs - that could be about to be 7.

and here is the little guy ... or not so little anymore.  He's got enough bulk to venture out himself and noticed he's got a very full stomach.  Obviously chasing down any tiny fry as he's able to fit into all the tiny gaps that they can.
