Topic: Upcoming Site Move

Hello all.  Just wanted to drop a line to state that the site will have a small outage coming up (day/time TBD).  I need to take the site down, to move the database and the site contents to the new server.  This will require a small outage (guessing about 30 minutes).  Once I have everything staged, I will post back here to let you know when.

We will also be working to upgrade the site to fix a couple minor problems that are causing some of the admins to got batty -

Move will be happening in about 30 minutes.  Site should not be down for very long.  I will be updating all files, backing up the database, moving the database, changing the config & DNS and *poof*.  Well, hopefully *poof* is a good thing.

Well folks -- the **poof** wasn't a good one.  The site has some underlying issues that I could not overcome.  Unfortunately, this is going to take a bit more work than I thought.  The site is back on the original server and I apologize for those of you who were pointed to the wrong site for a period of time.

I will come up with a strategy and communicate with the admins before taking the next steps.
