Hello from Bakersfield Ca

Hi all, name on this end is Chris. My 13yr old son bought a 20gal topfin aquarium, let it cycle with some cheap fish & then added a small (2 or so inch) red tail shark & 2 convicts. So far the convicts have bred & are guarding the eggs like a hawk & the redtail stays away from the convicts. I had a tropical aquarium as a kid back in the late 70's, 10 gal slate bottom but haven't done the fish thing since then. Lots af great info here, thanks for the forum.

Thanks for all the welcomes. John, not so brave with convicts, the wife won't let me have a northern pacific rattler, had to get rid of that before we got married, she says it's the snake or me lol, the NAVY helped with that dissision too.
