Yes you could house a blood parrot, severum and a firemouth easily in a 80.

That would work!!!  If i had a 80, i would do 2 severums (female), a firemouth, and some catfish!!!

it is only a foot wide. the other measurements are 4 feet and 2 feet tall. will the narrow width be a problem for these fish. also who will probably be the boss, i was thinking the firemouth till the others out grow him, then who will be the boss. do you think this community will have much aggression. how big do BPs get the biggest ive seen were about 6" do they get bigger :)

Do you want to put a variety of different fish though?? If not I would go for 3 or 4 different coloured discus. Nobody seems to like them here!!!  :D

What about a severum, a geophagus, blue acara or a firemouth?

The geophagus only grows up to 6 inches as far as I know. Maybe a little larger but surely doesn't exceed 8 inches.

I don't like mixing fish so much but if I have to I try to keep fish from one region in the same tank. In this way I don't have to worry so much about water parameters.

i like to get males because they are more colorful and get larger than the females. if the severum and firemouth are both males will they fight

An oscar as you well know grows much larger than the ones we mentioned. To have four different cichlids in one tank you have to consider them when they are fully grown as well.
