They look well chunky like Pacu, nice fish. I don't know if you've seen my other post about higher level swimmers, but i was thinking about Silver dollars but by the looks of it they like to stay fairly low. I'm stumped on what to get.
So are most people on this sight in the States? I always seem to miss everyone, guessing it's the time difference! :)

Thanks for that.
I'm set to swap my O on Saturday now. I'm going to miss the grumpy git but I've been wanting another community setup for ages. Got a fair drive though, will take over an hour to get there I reckon, so I'm not really looking forward to that part, but will be coming back with 2x Gold Severum, and 1x Convict all about 5 inch to go in big tank with the Blue acaras. Never kept Severum before so looking forward to seeing them.
Transporting the O is concerning me though. :-\

Put the Oscar in a cool box filled with just enough water to cover its back by about an 1".
The box help keep the water from cooling to quick and the lid will keep slashes in and keep the fish in the dark which helps keep stress to a minimum.

1 to 2 hours is not to long for the fish O0

I dug out my cool box this morning that I've used in the past for other fish, and realized that It's far too small! I even phoned my mum too see if she could dig out her cool box, but she can't find it (how you mislay a huge bright blue box is beyond me!)  So I'm going to have to use my water change bin which I'll wrap and cover with some under floor heating insulation I have in the garage, that should work fine. :)
