Post the info  O0

But to be honest unless your water is way out there I wouldn't use anything but dechlorinator

Aqualibrium assists the aquarist in safeguarding against fish disease as the unique formulation helps to create the perfect environment for fresh water fish. Aqualibrium stabilizes aquarium water conditions, including the essential PH value.
Aqualibrium is a major ally in your fishes struggle to maintain a constant internal body environment and helps to reduce the toxic effects of fish waste products such as nitrite. Aqualibrium is one of the aquarists most versitile water treatments and can be used in a variety of ways:

As a general tonic, and mild PH buffer.

To help minimize the effects of stress on fish.

As a supportive measure when treating for disease.

I use it as a general tonic. and it says for this "maintaining 0.1% aqualibrium constantly in the aquarium will help your fishes' immune system to combat disease. at this level will also guard against potentially damaging swing in PH.
The dose is 1x tea spoon per gallon, but I actually only use half a table spoon per gallon.

I am in my own little world, but it's okay, they know me here.

I would only use it when the fish are ill.

A stable PH is all that is required for most American cichlids

Sorry mate I didn't mean to be rude but I've only just realized that you posted me again on this.
Bit late now but tank PH is a constant 6.5 and to be honest I need to check the tap water with my PH high tester as it's off the chart on the normal test. But the tank has been fine for a while. It did actually turn out to be one particular piece of bog wood which was shedding allot of fine dust. I took it out scrubbed and soaked it again for a couple of days and it's back in now with no problems.

Well, the 350 ltr still sits in the garage and I still can't afford that flat screen  :(
But on a lighter note my Blue Acaras have some how managed to find the privacy to breed again at last, fry hatched tonight. Mum and dad have even made the convict realize that he's not getting anywhere near them. Not sure they will be able to keep them alive for long though once they're free swimming  :-\

They don't have enough space in this tank so the convict wouldn't leave them alone. They'll have more joy once they're in the 5 footer. Oh well, I was surprised to see that they had spawned to start with.

Im glad things worked out in the end. Give them a couple of trys, they will eventually be good parents. Sometimes the first couple of batches they don't really know what to do but they eventually get the hang of it.  O0
