   Welcome to the site.
I would wait for other replies but in my experience of Oscars I would say no, not if they can fit in his mouth anyway  :)
Maybe 4" to 5" would be ok but it's completely down to the temperament of the old one.
Does he have any other tank mates?

certainly wouldnt try it if the new O's will fit in his mouth and if they cant fit his mouth theres no gurantee he wont try to kill them anyway , if you do try it just make sure you have a plan B ready just in case

Welcome to WC...nice to have you here O0

You ask a question that could have a few different out comes.

1. You big O eats them
2. He befriends one of the new O's and kills the other (3 O's are a bad mix)
3. Once your two smaller O's hit puberty they go after the older O and the aggression would cause havoc
4. It works and they all live happily

If you were to do this IMO would wait a while.  Then when you are ready add them to the main tank you will want to remove the older O, rearrange the tank, put the two smaller ones in and after a bit add your big O.  This does not always work but it could.  Also have a plan B ready just in case it does not.

Please keep us posted as we are always interested what works for others.  :)

It would be a great shame to lose any of them. Even once they're bigger it's fifty fifty.
How about keeping the young ones in a set up of their own? You never know you may end up with a pair  ;)
If their tank is big enough maybe add something else?
I kept my O on his own as it wasn't big enough for anything else. But they are perfectly happy on their own, don't worry about him getting lonely If he's the only fish in there  :)
Be good to see some pics  O0

Welcome to the site and like to say that's a nice Oscar.

having one for 10 years means you know how they have their own personality, unfortunately that's what makes knowing how adding any new fish will work out.

3 Oscars very rarely works outs though.

He looks great, well done  O0
From what I can judge of the pic I would say he fills that tank quite nicely with the plec. Adding more may make it a bit cramped in there. Lookin good though, like to see what others do  O0

Welcome...Really nice O and setup.  :)

As the other`s have said..I wouldn`t add any more O`s, He fill`s the tank and any other O will just be trouble because of room for territory's.

After seeing your picture with the 39" bass fish against your tank I think you may have your tank volume mistaken.

Could you post your dimensions so we can check, would hate to have you accentually overstock

Adding O's together is hard if one is used to living by itself. Two juvies are riskier then trying to add another large one competitive in age or size because it adds more unpredictable breeding/courting behaviors.
You have one fish at full sexual maturity and not used to having the option of even considering breeding so that behavior has been sitting dormant. The young ones added will still be inexperienced and that behavior is all new in their case. It causes a lot of problems with unwanted advances on both sides and territorial conflict involved with that.

If you use feeders, you could breed convicts and add offspring to the 120 regularly. Some would be eaten as feeders but the odd strong con would survive and you would gain activity/interest in the tank if that is the desired idea with adding your other O's. ..and being homegrown convicts they'd also be safer from disease, parasites etc. then most typical feeders.
