DIY live foods

Has anyone thought of putting together an article on growing your own brine shrimp/mealworm/bloodworm, etc, etc. for cost-efficient fish food?  Thought it'd sit well alongside Callen's piece on suitable foods.  I try to source natural foods as much as possible so can put something together for the site if the mods welcome the idea.
