Welcome Konvict, you got some good advice here. The O was a great choice especially if you've never had cichlids. they grow very fast almost in front of your eyes and are very owner responsive. Some folks can hand feed them. mine really did grow a foot in less than a year.
This is getting expensive! I think I\\\'m gonna need a 2nd job to support my fish habit.

Nice to meet you

must admit when I arranged the tanks in my fish room I had second thoughts and wished I had put my planted tank as the central one.  But the Mbuna tank has come to life now and is constantly active.

i also wouldnt add keyhole cichlids to that mix either as they are to gentle a cichlid to compete with cons etc
I totally agree.  Keyholes,  go better mixing with Angels   or Rams,  Very passive Cichlid.   O0

A firemouth would go with an oscar, their beautiful. You could get some clown loaches, I know their not cichlids but they would work. Just an option.  ;)

CL`s will work yes, but they should have some size on them before adding to an O tank.

They grown Really slow.  ;D
And it`s not unheard of an O eating them.
