You could probably do the 3-4 inch if had some roots and caves that O's couldn't get in to.And as said if the O's aren't hungry shouldn't be a problem. My 12 inch O gets along with my 4 inch striped raphael, but they were raised together from the same size. 
This is getting expensive! I think I\\\'m gonna need a 2nd job to support my fish habit.

A Raphael has an armoured body though where a Lima'SN is scaleless.

If you get one here is a bit of info, they shed skin as they grow, Had me worried the first time it happened  :what:

Well I learned something Gerry. You can't tell by looking at the Raphael that they are armored.
