LOL, sorry about the title, but I am so excited!!!!!
We were getting ready for bed last night, when all of a sudden I heard a great commotion coming from my partner in the lounge. He'd gone in there to turn off the lights on the 55g that houses our BGK and Clown Pleco's. I rushed out there to see what on earth was going on, expecting disaster, and he tells me to take a close look at the back wall of the tank. And what should I see, but a tiny little stripey pleco, a little over 1cm long. MY CLOWN'S HAVE BRED!!!!!!!! I wasn't even sure if I had males and females......guess I've got at least one of each. I spotted three fry this morning and there could well be more as the tank is pretty heavily decorated. I have been bouncing off the walls since last night, I'm amazed I could calm down enough to go to sleep LOL.
Anyway, pic's will be forthcoming once we can get a flash set up on top of the tank, as it's currently too dark in there for the camera to focus properly. I'll post them as soon as I have anything.
OK, I'm to go bounce some more
I have to say, this is a lot more exciting than breeding cichlids!!!!
