Didn't know what to put this under????? My wee apple snail 'jeffery' shell is begining to look a little worse for wear as my ph is low moved him tanks just now but he can't stay there. Is there anything I can give him to help boost his calcium? X

I would put a little shell in for him to get calcium from and also buffer your PH up a bit as yours is real low (around 5 if I remember right)

Apple snails need the ph between 7-8.  I would add some crushed shells and watch the ph carefully along with the other inhabitants in the tank.  You don't want it to go up to fast.  Also adding spinach leaves (high in calcium) to it's diet will also help along with cucumbers and romaine lettuce.

You can also supplement his diet with cuttlebone /cuttlefish bone usually used to provide calcium to birds but works sell for snails as well.

Just raze it slowly.
I use to feed mine calcium tap`s that you buy for reptiles.  Just throw one in and they would eat it up..
