well found out i had a few babies make it, they were descent size but once i took everything out of the tank to give it a good cleaning they got eaten pretty fast :( lucky now i know the parents did a good job of hiding these ones and its gonna be a while before i do a heavy cleaning, whas the spawning period like should i be expecting more anytime soon?

Give them 2 or 3 weeks and they should be ready to go again.

That's good to hear at least.  Sucked it couldn't get to them fast enough but they were descent size so parents did a good job guarding well they had cover

thought id give all a update, noticed last week there was a new batch of eggs, about half the size of the first batch but still there. Was looking today and i can see little fry in the corner, the parents are doing a great job protecting them and no one seems to be bugging them!

Well second didn't it make it to free swimming. But the third has! I'm debating on if I should move them, divide the tank or just leave it to nature

If you have the tank to move them to then I would let the parents look after these for experience and then if they lose them move the breeding pair to a tank on their own and let them breed again (assuming you want fry)

Yeah that's kinda what I planned. There doing a great job defending there corner, no one is staying there to long. I even noticed them grabbing the young and moving then when they get to far

Thought id snag a little photo of the happy family, been about a 4 days since they became swimming and seem to be doing fine, also noticed in my 36 that the 2 female guppies and 2 female platies are prego to, thats alot of babies
