My new cute little baby JD jumped out of the tank last night and died. :-[ :(

Damn man thats terrible... I lost one of my O's in July to a suicide. He was my favorite to which figures.  Lids are definatly your friend

I had a lid on.  But he jumped our where the filter outlet was.

Yea my favourite tilapia jumped, I was so pissed off.
My female oscar also jumped not long after I got them, when I found her she was dry and not moving, but I plopped her back in the tank, and lo and behold she ended up making a full recovery.

sunfish have a tendency to jump out of the bucket on the way home from the lake. one time me and my chick were driving back from the lake and one of the fish leaped out of the bucket and almost landed on her. i caught it in mid air (thank god) or else she would have crached the car
