aggressive port and acara

i just bought a port cichlid and a blue acara,they were side by side in the store.since i put them in my tank one wont budge without the other and they are terrorizing my flowerhorn unrelentlessly,could this be mating?I never thought these 2 cichlids could be aggressive?Any help is greatly appreciated.

Maybe they recognize a genetic freak when they see one J/K (no offense to you.)

that is weird , The only flowerhorn that i saw is MEAN ! he killled the juvinilles of the meanest red devil that ive ever seen . Methodical killer !
