I agree with Theresa.  Blanche some zucchini or weight down some Romaine lettuce.  I've never found a pleco yet that wouldn't eat that. :) Also, some of my plecos prefer meat foods to vegetables.  Depending on what kind he is he may be is just eating the leftovers of your fish food that fall between the rocks.

mine will eat anything, but when i started him on zuccini it took a couple of times before he figured out that it was food, same thing with the cucumber. the best way to tell if your plecs eating, is he still alive? seriously they are pretty good at getting they're share of food especially if there are sloppy oscars in the tank
