What's up with the naughty (smite) or nice (applaud) thingie for users? I'm guessing I'm not the only fool who randomly clicked on it today just because I could. Any chance we could reset and lay out some ground rules?

The score was changed to show the average now, which is a good idea IMO.

I would just think when I see a useful post by someone I would give him/her a "good" point, and the other way round for really annoying ones.

Um, since 1 day or 2 days ... I forgot, but not for long. Why should that be strange for someone to have 10 points though? If one writes a good post and 10 people read it and think it should be honored, there you go.

And I wouldn't take that too serious at all, it depends a lot on how often you get on, what you write in which forum and which thread, how ppl handle this system in a different way, and whatever ... plus I would think (and even expect) that if I write something what those ppl I have respect for and care about dislike they'd let me know anyway, so I wouldn't care too much about any naughty points I have no explanation for ;)

Im such a bad kid, I have a -2! This system can be used to show others if they are being bad and lower their self-esteem ;)

You know, this good/naughty thing is already having a positive effect on me.  Before this new system, I'd be tempted to say some sarcastic in reply to the post above.  I would have said something along the lines of "Well if they are bad who cares about their self esteem... ".  But now I wouldn't say such a "naughty" thing.  

I may think it... but I wouldn't say it.    ;D

LMAO, I think you deserve a "good" point for not saying that ;D

I have to say all this excitement cracks me up in a big way, how everyone is probably feeling uneasy when kinda judging people and being judged by others (still wondering where my naughty point(s) come from, lmao) ... hilarious ;D

Mike, I applaud anyone to lazy to type out anything at this hour and I hereby take away one of those smite thingies and grant thee a positive 'PING'.
