We want to thank everyone who participated in our Fish of the Year and Tank of the Year contests.

Congratulations to Zach for winning Fish of the Year with his great photo of his Jack Dempsy.

Congratulations to Chris for winning Tank of the Year with his Saltwater reef tank.

For both winners we would like for ya'll to write up a little information about your tank and inhabitants and post it here.

Thanks again and Congratulations!

I must also add Thanks to Gisela for putting in all the time and effort making the polls.  None of this would have been possible without her.

Thanks

Thank you! My Jack dempsey is housed in a 125 gallon tank with 2 canisters and 2 emp400's. Just a basic set up (wish I'd gone wet dry of course it's never to late). He's about 5 years old and when my daughter was 3 she named him rainbow fish. Anyway, his tankmates are 2 oscars and 2 severums. I have'nt had to much problem with aggression from the jack. He does'nt mess with the severums at all and will sometimes charge at the oscars.

The oscars on the other hand have been somewhat of a problem lately as my larger red O has been somewhat of a bully to the tiger O but seems to be mellowing out now.

It's funny the way the JD has come out of his shell since living with the O's, he used to be pretty skittish. Now he behaves much like the oscars do.

Here's how it looks right now.  Oh and I almost forgot about the silver dollar thats been rainbow fish's long time tank mate.
