There's not much of a difference, as you say, you still got to type, but it would be cool to have that little text box and be tempted to use it.

Think it's like a form at the bottom of a thread where you can type your reply without having to load another page. :-\

might be good, doesnt seem to take all that long anyway though  :-\ most time consuming bit is typeing the reply and you'd still have to do that anyway hey.
