Topic: catfish...

I have a catfish in a 10g and it's about 3 inches long. In that tank I usually keep fry and a few grown feeders. I came back from vacation and all my feeders and fry were gone! I didn't think catfish eat fish? am i wrong?

What kind of catfish is it? Many catfish are nocturnal hunters.

If it was a pictus cat, or a four line, then the fry in it's stomach. If it was a corydoras, it wouldn't have eaten the fry. Not too sure about sydontis though. They might when they get bigger, I think. So pretty much the channel cats are the only ones I know of that would do that.
