Topic: Bring back the rating system

where one can earn point for their threads, and donate points to other people if they want. Without negative points.

it lasted a couple of days last year, you gave positive and negative points, but many freaked out when their positive points disapeared and negative rating appeared on them, it was a cool feature

It was interesting, cause it rated emotion on topic mostly
So If said someone was a  beeep beep beep beeeeeeeeeeeeep or to that effect I was pretty much negative. But if Was a Tree-Huggin flower giving LIFE BE IN IT supa happy person I would be positive rated (BUT UNOPINONATED)

So I was all for it.

I loved it - thought it was great fun!  But apparently some (who had self esteem issues) didn't take too kindly to having negative points.  I think some folks need a little tougher skin sometimes.

I'd like to see it come back, but I undestand if the admins don't want to stir up trouble.

Oh, please no. Right now I have a -4, and it is all going to go downhill from here. It confuses me when people hate me for what I have no idea. Or maybe they are just testing it out on me. Thats what happened last time. And only the admins, mods, and SM's get the high ratings!!! Maybe I'm just paranoid but some of the people on this board are out to get me. Sorry, but I'm mad-I lost my game today. But yeah, I just think the rating system is just another way to bring me down.

Im not the most active on this board, I don't post the most info, and I'm definately not the smartest about fish. But seriously, I have been here a looong time (I like to consider myself a senior member) so I would like just a little respect.

I'm going to be the Robin Hood of the voting system. Im going to vote down on the people with the high scores, and vote up on the people with low scores. Nothing against anyone. Im just here to make those people feel good.

click the link under the persons name
you can only doone vote per hour I think,               

Mike you had negative votes left over from when when  we had both postive and negative votes.
I fixed it up for you.

Only positive votes can be given now
So basicly if you dont like someone you dont click the link,, saves the ego for many people.

Whenever I click the "vote" thingy (wich is right under the stars below the user name) I give said person one added point. I don't get how anybody can get negative points (wich is a good thing in my book), but I have seen a few people with negative points.

Although, I can vote however many times I want, doesn't matter how little time I wait inbetween votes (wich is why Tony's rating is so hi, been using him as my test dummy )
