MY CON JUST LAYED EGGS

SWEEEEEEEET i told you my female was acting like she was gonna... well i just came in and looked in the cave and theres little eggies all over the place... i'm so excited  ;D i'm going to be a fahja... wow i've had my cons for 3 days or so and look waht happens  ;)

is the male going to fertilize them ??? what are the chances he will??? should i be away from the tank so they can do their thing?? should i turn the light off??? what should i do i'm an excited wreck... i guess they r just cons but still... i am new to these cons  ;) the tank is right by my computer so should i avoid here or waht?????/ please help me

Just let them do their thing. Leave them alone as much as you can. Don't worry about the lights. Just leave the tank alone.

No, it's fine to stay there. If that's where you've usually been, it wont matter. They're probably use to you being there already. Just do whatever you usually do. :)

k thanks... temp is at 82... u think about 4 days until they become fry if all goes well?? this is exciting to watch... the female swap upside down and layed them on the roof of the cave and now the male is swimming upside down and fertilizing them i guess and they are just standing watch in the cave now...  ;D hopefully all goes well

sorry about the (..*) tinman... won't happen again  :-X i just got a little excited... my apologies!  :)

but anyways... on a lighter not... so far so good... ican't really see how many eggs there are but i'm guessing... oh atleast 75-100  i'm guessing (that i can see) ... hard to see tho...  cuz its in the dark cave

haha........ they don't seem too worried about defending them... the male is right by them on watch while th efemale swims around then the female will go stand on watch while the male may come out... the female is way more active... is this normal???
