Aww. She a German Blue? I think that's what you said. I heard they don't live for very long. When she spawned, did they hatch?

Yup. I sold the fry and got my Oscar for MUCH cheaper at the lfs. (My friend owned the store.) The lifespan of a german blue ram is between 2-3 years. They were probably close to a year when I bought them. She actually died yesterday. :( I'm going to miss her!!!

Thanks :) I was thinking about getting another female, but I'm just worried she'd just be too young for my male. And he was SO well bonded with his girlie I'm also afraid he wouldn't get along with another yk? He was keeping her going till the end :( When I saw she was dying.. I noticed that he kept going up to her and he'd put his head under her and nudge her gently and she'd try to start swimming again.  :'( It was definitely true love!

Actually.. I am hoping to shrink my numbers soon. Its proving to be very difficult for me to keep up with them all because of the pregnancy. I never had a problem before. But with my daughter, the other pets, lack of sleep and lack of energy.... yeah... definitely too much now!
