How do you tell the sex of a pink convict?

You just have to look alot closer since the pink belly blends with the pink skin

on pink cons colour often apears as allmost an apricot colour or orange rather then a strikeing pink like you often see show up on black cons. if their of large enough size you can also go by the dorsal and anal fin shape.

how does that work?

generally (most of the time but not allways) a male con will have longer extensions on those fins then a female, they will often extend right back past the tail fin in many males but are ussually shorter in females. in fairly mature cons the male will also in many cases develop a hump and can be sexed by the shape of the head.
