Albino cons, or are they really pink?

Albino cons, or are they really pink? My LFS has cons labelled albino, they are pretty small I am wondering if they are just going to turn into pinkies.....
THanks

If you look at the eyes of an albino they should appear red from he lack of pigment.
If the eyes are black then they are just a shade of pink

I"ve never seen an ablino convict.  Most of the time "albino convicts" are really just pink cons.  ><:

I agree with Dave, you have to go off of the eyes. true albinos should have the red eyes, i think people often call pinks albino just cause its an easy way to descibe them as being white if they don't know the term "pink convict". I have never seen an actual albino con myself, i'm sure there could be some around though.

my con looks like a albino but im pretty sure it will be pink soon.

they may not turn fully pink. "pink" is just a common term. a majority of "pink convicts" i've had over the years were alot more white then pink. in my opinion "white convicts" would actually be a better common name for them.

the same thing happens with many africans in LFS's i've noticed also, heaps are labeled albino (eg. albino zebra etc.) but are actually not and don't have the red eye trait of most albinos.

it is rare, however possible (at least in many animals) to have a type of albino that is 'true' but does not have the red eyes. there is a specific name for this that i cant remember but i have seen albino humans aswell that fit into this catagory.
