One gallon cory's

I just bought a new one gallon tank to keep my betta fish in and heard that cory's  get along with them pretty well. I was wondering since it is only a one gallon do you think that two cory's would have enough room? and i was also wondering if i should buy some new food to use for them. right now i only have aqua culture betta pellets and didnt know if those would work or if they would be able to beat my betta in order to get some food. Should i get some sinking food or what please help i am not sure.

PS. i know how small a one gallon is, its a little disappointing that is alll the bigger it is but i'm away at college and couldnt get a ten gallon right before thanksgiving and christmas break.

I dont think I would put anything but a betta in a 1 gallon tank.  Corys are going to require filtration, and heating, which just isnt realistic to have in a tank that small.

Agreed!  Just go with the Betta, the Corys will go nuts in a 1 gallon.
