O0 Nope. It does actually say in the ad that they are not dyed. Actually, Freaky Jason could tell me if I am correct, what you see there is not a Blue Con, but a Honduras Red Point. He has some himself. They are gorgeous, and I would love to get my hands on a pair! ;D

Be very very careful when using Aquabid.  That place is crawling with scams.  And the owner/operator doesnt really care.  I got into a heated email exchange with him over some "extremely rare zebra stripe convicts" that were posted at $200 each.  When I brought it to his attention all he had to say was "oh well I am not responsible for what happens on my site".  It took around 4-5 emails threatening to post on every web forum a link to this auction before he would take it down and even then he offered to delete my user account... like I would ever sign up for a poorly run site like htat... anyway total tangent there.

But seriously its just a regular convict that they are tyring to get extra money for like usual.  Just another Aquabid scam for you.

LOL Hey Adam, did you see the pic? Thanks for sharing that they have a bad rep, though, that's good to know. But they seriously look exactly like FJ's Honduran Red Points, no? What do you think?

Oh they're cons alright, a pair of pale, scared cons photoshopped to look like something they're not.  The blue on the dorsal fin I could believe, but the rest of it?  Without a doubt, there's something fishy here  ;D

Aquabid is like Ebay without any of the security measures.  Its only as good as the seller.  If you buy from aquabid its buyer beware basically, and you could get screwed.  If you have to order online I would stick with trusted venors.  Look at tangledupincichlids.com for south and central americans.  The best thing if you dont want specialty fish is just to have your LFS special order fish for you.  Most will do this withough any extra charge and you dont have to pay 20-30 dollars in shipping either.  ONline ordering is only really worth it when your ordering tons of fish, extremely rare fish you cant get in the LFS
