Wounded Cory Cat
« on: December 25, 2004, 10:02:09 AM »
We have a green Cory Cat, we've noticed its right fin has what looks like a blood blister at the base.  It isnt moving it much, but swiming around the tank as if nothing were wrong.  Any suggestions of what could be wrong with it and or what to do with it?

Thanks
Chris

Fish sometimes get injuries by bumping into things or getting stck in a certain spot. What else is in there with him?

Just add some salt or Melaf and you should be fine.  He'll be ok in a few days.

He is in a 55 gal tank with three different breeds of Tetras, some plain Platys and one pleco.
Thanks for the help

I agree go with melaflix and aqua salt, but cut the dosage in half because of the tetras. They are very sensitive to chemical treatment.
