TFH also did an article on the red tail in this month's issue - they could've saved a lot of time and used your review instead.  It's such a shame these fish get so huge - they are neat looking animals!

I was trying to track down a fish today(striped Rafael,yes the one this great forum identified for me) and the amount of people trying to get rid of red tailed cats was shameful.....pity they did not read an article as informative as yours before their downfall

striped Raphael cats are awesome, but they have one main drawback..... they always hide when the lights are on. ive had on for 6 months and the only time ive ever seen him is when i clean the tank or flip the lights on after they've been off for an hour or so. other than that, there a cool cat. same goes for my asian bumble bee cat.
