Acccccck! I went to feed my fish last night only to discover them shaking at eachother and tearing eachother apart!!

now my victorians right side fin hurt and her lip is torn up, and my other female (the snow-white) has chunks of scales missing on her left side! all of this was in a matter of about 5 hours ! $:-\$ $:-\$
i made some dividers (went to the pet store- but of course they are closed on sunday evening..

so i had to go to Wal-mart and raid the craft scetion instead) and i separated them- that seemed like a bad idea cuz they flipped out even more when they couldnt be together!!!
Now i am stuck fishing out the male from one side to the other every few hours to keep the females from tearing the everlovin *&@! outta eachother because they both want to breed with the same male at the same time!! (...the only guy i know that isnt keen on the idea of a three-some......)
there has got to be a better way of doing this! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP!

The male probably realizes that those two females are crazy

, that's why he's not interested in the threesome. Or he likes other male fish

Either way as a guy it's hard to imagine passing up the opportunity of a threesome

bumble-bee (male), victorian (female), snow-white (female) which are all Pseudotropheus lombardoi (at least that is what i was told...)

ok so, at first it was a few nipps
then it was torn fins
now its NO fins!!!
the lady at the LFS says not to separate them, they will be fine- well my victorian is NOT fine- she has no tail fin and no flesh at the base of her tail. i've been doing 5 teaspoons of melefix per day for my 55 gal all the other fish are looking great, and she looks like she's ready to go in the frying pan!!!!

no- my new place is not wired for cable (stupid po-dunk piece o crap town...) so i have to find out how to get them to do it cuz i refuse to get dail-up! you cant make me!! haha
i'll see if the library will let me up load- i tryed it here and the system blocked it.....*grumble**grumble*

*sigh* still no tail fin, still big gaping spot on the base of her tail- all her other fins look fine again, i am beggining to think that she's going to be the tail-less wonder.....

might try to put her in a seperate tank for a while to see if it'll grow back. Plus with a smaller tank you wont go though as much Melefix!
