I think you're pretty much maxed out in bioload now(for once they are bigger that is). I wouldn't add the other ones .

I would let the Oscars run the tank and forget about any others. Get a tank for barbs, convicts, and JDs each and try a pleco in them all....
Or get two pairs of cons, or have a pair of JDs....
If you want a lot of sp. make it a community tank and dont include any of them sp....
The only other option is to let them fight it out. I have my money on the cons!
HTH
OG

PS Do you think all them fish would live together?

The problem is, by the time the fish mature, you might wind up with a pair of JDs and a pair of Oscars, and that in itself, could lead to trouble, let alone, adding a GT  and a Texas. You'd just be asking for too many ways of trouble starting.

You could add 2 more Tinfoil Barbs as large dithers.  I got 3 myself in my 150G.

instead of getting a GT and a Texas find a mate for the convict, a single convict will get lonely.....   You would be a bit over stalked but its doable... Just like my setup:

2 oscars
1 GT
1 JD
1 Texas
and a pair of convicts.

im pushin it with these fish in my 150.

Even for a 180G, you may be pushing it with that combo.  One thing to take into mind is with a pair of Cons, you'd have tons of mating going on, in a tank that includes all those big Cichlids, and thats just asking for trouble.

If it were me, I'd go with  the 2 Oscars, 1 JD, 1 GT or Texas, 1 Con, 1 Firemouth or Blue Acara, and 2 or 3 Barbs, plus maybe a Bottom feeder or 2.

or I'd get rid of 1 of the Oscars, then you could have the GT and Texas, with the combo I just suggested above.

There's plenty of things to do with a 180G. It's just taking to many chances, with 2 of one kind, because of the possibility of pairing forming.

Good luck with whatever you decide.   I love my 150 G, so I know you'll love the 180G. O0

You could maybe add one more of the following: Firemouth, Blue Acara or a Salvani.

I t hink you could probably safely add the FM but i'd hold back on the other two choices since they can get to be pretty troublesome  buggers.

FM's are quite bold too and will instigate fights they can't win most of the time, but then they're really good at the run and hide thing  >:D
