hey ppl
i bought this fish as a perl texas in th lfs but cant seem 2 find any good info on em soo im thinking it has another name or something.....any help with them would be gr8
(got 2 of em not the easiest fish 2 get a pic of)

No offense but you need a new camera  ;).  No idea how to help on this one.  Can't really see it clear enough to give you any opinion at all.

That is not bad for a phone.

The only trouble is the colours are not that sharp, everything looks pink tinged

The first picture is pretty fair actually ;)  So the question is "Is this fish a pearl texas?" correct?

To be honest the body shape does not make me think Texas cichlid.  Besides that i just don't have the time today to do a search.  Hopefully someone else can help you.

Definitely NOT a Texas  :(  I'd be thinking a Vieja of some kind maybe?  Its hard to tell with the whole pink thing going on  ;D  How big is it?

you know how the fish look with out them being pink lol ;D you can search for them heres a small list http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/species_list_central_america.php ( i believe theres some not mentioned there) gud luck my heads paining from searching
