I have got a breeding pair of albino convict cichlids and have spawned twice... each time around 60 babies survive and grow tails, but they eventually all dissapear..

just wondering if parents are eating them, and how to avoid this from happening

thanks

Cichlids can take a few goes to get it right.  The parents are eating them but its only a matter of time before they realize they shouldnt, and given the rather amorous nature of convicts then its only a short matter of time.

You could seperate parents from fry but personally I would wait.

The real question is what u will do with the hundreds of fry u will end up with?
